Let's work together

- in other words, hire me -

From employee in the social-sector to freelance writer for responsible travel to solopreneur, I have transitioned, dabbled and worked in different capacities with different clients – both individuals and organizations. Here is how I propose we could work together:

The 'Be You...' workshop series have been designed to meet the need of creating safe spaces for self-expression and self-development for:

  • Corporate and not-for-profit organizations/NGOs,

  • High school/University students and teachers,

  • Individuals

My on-going journey of expressing and exploring my multi-layered narratives has led me to learn and be trained in evidence-based methodologies of understanding one’s narratives. These include:

  • Dr. Rogers’ person-centered approach;

  • Dr. Ellis’ rational emotive behaviour approach;

  • Dr. Pennebaker’s expressive writing;

  • Marshall B. Rosenberg’s compassionate communication;

  • Michael White’s narrative therapy;

  • the practice of Vipassana, among others.

Previous clients have included:

Corporate: ThoughtWorks (Hyderabad), Texas Instruments (Bengaluru)

NGO: India Fellows, Breakthrough (New Delhi), United Way Mumbai

Educational: Jamsetji Tata School of Disaster Studies (TISS, Mumbai), Aljamea tus Safeyah (Surat)

I also undertake writing engagements with brands who promote responsible sustainable travel or mental health related issues. These take the form of:

  • Human interest stories

  • Cause-related marketing

Previous clients have included:

Times Travel (TOI initiative), The Better Traveller (Singapore International Foundation initiative), Flipkart Stories, Grassroutes, White Swan Foundation, Enabling Leadership Foundation

Showcase of Work

NEW Workshop Event Cover(2).png

"The workshop was bilateral and enabled introspection. I learnt how to create strategy for content. It's helped me identify the unique perspective of a story. Even with a calm demeanor, the facilitator's command of the room was spot on"

United Way Mumbai

"I enjoyed how the instructor clearly explained the topic. Now I understand how writing clears your thoughts.

Writing also gives one-on-one time with yourself that you might be avoiding or afraid of!"

Texas Instruments

"I love sessions that are two-way and involve both the audience as well as the facilitator and today's session was very interactive.

I liked the facilitator's attentiveness to the sharing by the group."

India Fellows

"I liked how the facilitator asked us different questions allowing us to think and explore different perspectives for ourselves. I'm leaving this session with an understanding of how to know and respect myself, of how to write to express not impress!"
